Job summary

Network Recruitment International is seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to join our IT & Internet team. You will lead backend delivery, contribute to architecture and drive best practices while mentoring junior developers in a dynamic Agile setting.

You will design robust, scalable solutions, work with cross functional teams and help guide technology direction to ensure high-quality software and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in an IT-related field.
• 4–6 years of software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with C#.
• Experience working within Scrum/Agile environments.
• Experience with SQL Server, including relational database design and complex SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and source-code configuration management.
• Experience with development principles such as SOLID, KISS, TDD, DDD and Clean Coding.
• A strong focus on quality, attention to detail and sustainable development practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in the delivery of products and software solutions.
• Contribute to solution architecture and technical implementation decisions.
• Develop, maintain and enhance existing systems while supporting the adoption of new technologies.
• Deliver strategic development projects within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Design and implement robust, scalable back-end solutions.
• Work closely with developers, technical leads, managers and architects.
• Mentor and coach Junior Developers, encouraging knowledge sharing and technical growth.
• Promote and maintain strong software development standards and best practices.
• Participate in testing, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document systems and technical enhancements to support effective knowledge sharing.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
