Job summary

TFG Beauty is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead sourcing of trend-driven clothing and accessories, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and customer expectations.

You will mentor junior team members, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with planning and product teams to deliver a compelling, profitable assortment across our beauty retail network. This role requires strong market analysis, leadership, and the ability to travel for buying trips.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Graduate Degree, or Post Graduate Degree.
• Buyer experience (4+ years) essential.
• Understanding of the Beauty retail cycle and buying process.
• Excellent planning, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Product development experience.
• Uncompromising negotiation skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Solid knowledge of Quick Response model.
• Familiarity with Excel, Word and email software preferred.

The Buyer III is responsible for driving the selection and sourcing of trend-driven clothing and accessories that align with brand strategy and customer expectations. This role oversees market analysis, supplier negotiations, and product assortment planning to maximize sales and profitability. With a strategic mindset and strong leadership skills, the Buyer III also mentors junior team members and collaborates closely with key stakeholders to ensure a competitive and compelling product offering.

• Successfully source and procure a balancedrange of merchandise in line with company strategy.
• Work closely with the planner, through analysis of previous sales patterns, market trends and brand initiatives.
• Formulate departmental strategies to maximizesales and then timeously source and secure stock to implement strategies.
• Negotiate effectively to deliver Financial businessKPI’S
• Build and maintain good relationships withemployees, suppliers, and key functions in the business.

• Availability to go on buying trips (local andinternational)
