Job summary

Advania seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to join Group Finance, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights across a large multi-entity organisation. Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional BI/analytics experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data analytics, information systems, CS or related field.
• Demonstrable Power BI report development and dashboard design experience.
• Understanding of data modelling concepts and relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
• Strong Excel skills with advanced formulas and data analysis.

Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to join Group Finance, which acts as the Finance function for the entire Advania Group. This position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic and demanding team environment where expectations are high. It is a role that would suit a high-potential professional who is looking to join an organisation where their career can accelerate.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Group Head of FP&A, supporting data analysis across a large multi-entity organisation that employs over 4,000 people internationally and generates annual revenues in excess of 1 billion GBP.

In this key role, you can expect to support the development of data-driven insights across the Group. You will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and operations functions to develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support decision-making.

This is a truly rare opportunity for the Cape Town market. The closing date for this role is Friday 13th November 2026.

Salary & Benefits

The budgeted salary for this role is between 40,000 and 50,000 ZAR monthly, depending on experience.

• Basic knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)
• Strong experience with Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis
