Job summary

BVi Consulting Engineers Gauteng (Pty) Ltd in Pretoria is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Technologist (Building Services) for a permanent role. You will lead electrical design and delivery for assigned scopes, collaborating with clients, project teams and draughting resources across stages from concept to handover.

Qualifications

• Registered PrEng or PrTech with ECSA.
• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in electrical systems design for buildings.
• Experience with greenfield/brownfield projects and upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards across project phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver electrical designs for projects across the building environment.
• Prepare 2D/3D drawings, including Revit-based designs.
• Create design calculations, single-line diagrams, layouts and schematics.
• Support FAT, commissioning, site surveys and project meetings.
• Travel to project sites as required.
