Job summary

Colgate is seeking an innovative Social Media & Content Lead to elevate our SSA IBE team. You will drive TikTok-focused social strategy, develop cohesive content frameworks, and collaborate cross-functionally to align with marketing goals across Sub-Saharan Africa.

You will lead content development, oversee creative execution with agencies, and ensure brand consistency and legal compliance in all formats.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Copywriter or similar role with a strong portfolio.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong grammar and style.
• Ability to craft persuasive content for diverse audiences across platforms.
• Experience in a hybrid environment with strong self-management.
• Familiarity with content management systems and SEO best practices.
• Strong research skills and ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine brand voice and messaging guidelines for consistency.
• Write copy for campaigns, website content, emails, and social media.
• Create narratives that tell the brand story and resonate with audiences.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders on campaigns.
