Job description
Overview
  • Full bookkeeping function to balance sheet.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
  • Prepare and process journals, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Perform monthly bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions.
  • Assist with management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Support the year-end audit process with accurate documentation.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data flow.
Qualifications
  • Bookkeeping/accounting diploma or equivalent qualification (advantageous).
  • Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
Criteria
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with at least 5 years at a senior level.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles up to balance sheet.
  • Proficiency in Pastel or QuickBooks
  • Strong Excel skills and computer literacy.
