Job summary

Ca Support Cc in Durbanville is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join its finance team. The role focuses on daily bookkeeping, data entry, reconciliations and assisting the Financial Manager with reports for projects and operations.

You will handle accounts payable, VAT submissions, payroll administration and the preparation of monthly management accounts. A relevant accounting diploma or degree and at least five years of experience are required, with Sage experience considered

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Relevant diploma or degree in accounting
• Experience with Sage advantageous
• Strong Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and filing of paperwork
• Entering financial data into Sage or spreadsheets and reconciling accounts
• Accounts Payable
• Preparation of monthly creditor payment batches
• Assist with Bank Reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for monthly management accounts and the annual audit
• Provide audit evidence/documentation to the auditors
• Expense monitoring
• Payroll administration
• Complete monthly VAT submission
• Prepare monthly management accounts
