LexisNexis South Africa is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner with the South Africa leadership team, shaping performance and strategic growth. You will lead financial planning, forecasting and governance, translating data into actionable insights for the Managing Director and executives.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, influencing senior stakeholders, building the SA finance team, and driving responsible AI and data-enabled decision making across finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted strategic and commercial partner to the MD and South Africa leadership team.
• Lead the financial planning, forecasting and performance-management processes for the SA business.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear insights and actions for the MD and leadership team.
• Identify the underlying drivers of revenue, margin, cost and cash performance and work with business leaders to address risks and opportunities.
• Lead, develop and coach the SA finance team.
• Ensure appropriate financial controls, governance and risk-management processes are maintained in accordance with LexisNexis and RELX requirements.
• Champion the use of data, technology and AI to improve Finance effectiveness, business insight and decision-making.
• Contribute actively to the development and execution of the SA business strategy and long-term priorities.
