Job summary

JVR Software in Tshwane is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage end-to-end bookkeeping up to trial balance and financial statements.

You will maintain the General Ledger, handle inventory reconciliations, AP/AR, VAT submissions, and support month-end and year-end processes across two branches.

Candidates should have a National Diploma in Accounting or related field and at least five years’ experience, with advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge (SAP Business One, Sage).

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Experience managing accounts for multiple branches
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance and financial statements
• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger
• Inventory accounting and stock reconciliations
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
• Bank reconciliations and cashbook processing
• VAT submissions and statutory compliance
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes
• Financial reporting and analysis for management
• Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping across both branches
