Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a pioneer in secure blockchain solutions, is actively seeking a Senior Blockchain Security Analyst to join their fully remote, world-class cybersecurity team. This is a vital role focused on safeguarding the integrity and security of our client's blockchain infrastructure and applications. You will be at the forefront of identifying potential vulnerabilities, developing robust security strategies, and responding to security incidents. This is a remote-first position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere, fostering a flexible and productive work environment. We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of blockchain security, smart contract auditing, and threat analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing of blockchain networks and smart contracts.
• Perform in-depth smart contract audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure code integrity.
• Develop and implement advanced security monitoring and threat detection systems.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing forensic analysis when necessary.
• Research emerging security threats and vulnerabilities specific to blockchain technology.
• Design and recommend security controls and best practices for blockchain deployments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the entire development lifecycle.
• Develop security policies and procedures related to blockchain operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain security.
• Proven experience in smart contract auditing and static/dynamic code analysis.
• Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and common attack vectors.
• Proficiency with security testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience with cryptographic principles and their application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at reporting findings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
