Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Security Analyst for a leading cybersecurity firm. This fully remote position focuses on threat intelligence, monitoring blockchain networks, and mitigating security threats in crypto ecosystems.

You will analyze on-chain data, investigate breaches, and develop security strategies, collaborating with a distributed team of experts to safeguard assets and drive security best practices across decentralized systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis, threat intelligence, or related security roles.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the crypto/blockchain ecosystem.
• Familiarity with blockchain explorers and on-chain analysis tools.
• Experience in analyzing transaction data and identifying malicious patterns.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Bloemfontein, Free State, ZA is not a requirement for this remote role.
