Candide Limited is seeking aSenior BI Analyst to own end‑to‑end reporting for estate brands, using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. You will define metrics, build dashboards, and maintain semantic data models to empower estate teams with actionable insights.

You will collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, and trusted reporting that guides decision‑making across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Business Analytics.
• Typically 5+ years in a BI Analyst, Data Analyst or similar role with intermediate to senior‑level technical skills.
• Strong, hands‑on Power BI experience: data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and publishing and managing content in the Power BI Service.
• Experience with, or a strong appetite to work in, Microsoft Fabric: lakehouses, warehouses, dataflows, pipelines and semantic models.
• Strong SQL, and confidence independently exploring, validating and analysing data.
• A track record of understanding how a business works and turning that into metrics, KPIs and reports that changed decisions.
• Able to explain, unprompted, how you chose the metrics for a report, which leading indicators sat behind them, and why that was the right call.
• A high level of attention to detail and an instinct for validating data rather than taking numbers at face value.
• Clear communication with non-technical audiences: explaining assumptions, discrepancies and findings plainly.
• Driven, bright and friendly, with strong stakeholder skills and the ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Understand how each estate and business unit operates to define metrics and goals.
• Work with stakeholders to determine needed metrics and challenge suboptimal measures.
• Identify leading and lagging indicators and show their relationships in reporting.
• Turn ambiguous requests into clear reporting and analytical requirements.
• Own BI and reporting end‑to‑end: requirements, build, validation, delivery and handover.
• Design and maintain intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards using Fabric as the primary data platform.
• Develop semantic models, data models and transformations with good performance.
• Write and interpret SQL to explore and analyze data across sources.
