Job summary

Watershed Consulting is seeking an experienced BI Developer to design, build and maintain data solutions enabling timely business insights. You will work across the full solution lifecycle to ingest, transform, model and present data using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, PySpark and relational databases.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, BI and data teams to deliver scalable, governed analytics solutions while applying DevOps practices and data governance principles.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of professional BI, analytics or data development experience.
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI and T-SQL in production solutions.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and PySpark/Spark SQL.
• Experience managing or supporting relational databases and troubleshooting data issues.
• Experience across the full solution lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation and support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data solutions across the full lifecycle.
• Ingest, transform, model and present data using Fabric, PySpark and SQL.
• Develop and optimise Power BI reports, semantic models, and implement Row-Level Security.
• Ensure data governance, security and documentation for analytics assets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and BI/data teams to deliver scalable solutions.
