Placements24 is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for a fully remote team specializing in cloud-based solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Python/Java/Node.js/Go, and build robust data storage with SQL/NoSQL databases.

You will work with frontend, product, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions. The role emphasizes architecture, performance optimization, CI/CD, security, and mentoring in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: strong Backend Engineer track record with notable apps.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python/Java/Node.js/Go).
• Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
