LexisNexis Legal & Professional in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to shape and evolve a global CI/CD platform. You will partner with engineering teams to build secure, scalable delivery pipelines across cloud environments, using infrastructure as code and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
• Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates, and reusable deployment patterns
• Support the migration of legacy pipelines to standardized CI/CD approaches with clear documentation and best practices
• Integrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines and improve observability using tools such as Open Telemetry
• Build and support Python-based tooling, packages, and automation to enhance platform capabilities and developer experience
• Collaborate with application teams to design CI/CD flows aligned with platform standards
• Provide operational support for pipelines and platform components, including critical incident support when needed
• Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative culture of continuous improvement
