About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Avionics Technician to join their operations in Richards Bay . This role is critical for maintaining the complex electronic systems and navigation equipment on a variety of aircraft, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of avionic systems, working within a team dedicated to upholding the highest standards in the aviation industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern avionics technologies and a strong understanding of aviation electronics principles, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex avionics systems , including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications as required by engineering or regulatory directives.
• Conduct functional tests and calibrations of avionic equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and discrepancies found.
• Collaborate with pilots and other maintenance personnel to diagnose and resolve avionics issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician , with at least 6 years in the aviation industry.
• Possession of relevant avionics certifications or an engineering degree in a related field.

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and avionics software .
