Placements24 is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join its Cape Town operations. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex avionics on board aircraft, ensuring flight safety and reliability.

You will work with aviation professionals, interpret manuals and diagrams, perform functional checks, and maintain detailed maintenance records. A certification or trade qualification in Avionics or Electronics is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician in the aviation sector.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft communication, navigation, radar, and autopilot systems.
• Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards related to avionics maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• Certification or relevant trade qualification in Avionics or Electronics.

Responsibilities
