Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Automotive Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development and testing of critical automotive components in Stellenbosch. You will drive advanced mechanical engineering initiatives within the engineering division, collaborating across disciplines to deliver next-generation vehicle systems.

- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive automotive mechanical design and development experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of delivering concepts to production.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of automotive mechanical systems using CAD.
- Perform performance, durability, and stress analyses with FEA/CFD.
- Oversee prototype testing and validation to meet specs.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and implement engineering solutions.
- Mentor engineers and foster engineering excellence in Stellenbosch team.
