Job summary

Staff Solutions Recruitment seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to take ownership of existing automation and reporting software and drive development of industrial tools.

You will provide operational support for monitoring and control systems, implement software changes, and guide EC&I technicians. The role includes building standards, templates and control logic, plus integration between software packages as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors level engineering degree in Electronic/Mechatronic/Control & Instrumentation with 5+ years in industrial automation.
• Strong software development skills and hands-on project delivery.
• Minimum 3 years experience on Ignition (Vision, Perspective) and Adroit.
• At least 2 years on-site commissioning/operational support, preferably in water treatment.
• Interest and experience in machine learning, AI and data science.

Responsibilities

• Own automation and reporting software, driving development of industrial tools.
• Provide operational support for monitoring and control systems; implement requested changes.
• Develop standards, templates and control logic for automation projects.
• Implement control software and integrate multiple software packages when required.
• Develop reporting and monitoring tools using Ignition/SQL/Flow tools; create Ignition Perspective templates.
• Maintain and enhance existing reporting/monitoring software packages.
