Placements24 is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to lead automation initiatives for energy applications from a hybrid base near East London. You will design, implement, and maintain advanced PLC/DCS control systems ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.

Work with engineering and operations teams to optimize processes, integrate new technologies, and develop documentation. Requires a 5+ year track record, a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, and PLC/HMI/SCADA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years designing and implementing industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA.
• Strong understanding of automation, instrumentation, and network protocols.
• Experience in energy sector or process automation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC/DCS control systems for industrial processes and power generation.
