The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in auditing within financial services, and professional credentials (CIA, CA(SA), or CPA) preferred. Strong data analysis and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CIA/CA(SA)/CPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal controls, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and audit software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with audit standards.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluate the adequacy of risk management processes across various business units.
• Develop clear, concise, and actionable audit findings and recommendations.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to management and audit committees.
• Follow up on the implementation of agreed-upon recommendations.
