Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, MBA, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in asset management, investment management, or financial analysis in power/infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale capital projects and optimizing asset performance.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of the South African energy market regulations and dynamics.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic asset management plans to optimize performance, reliability, and profitability of power infrastructure assets.
• Conduct regular asset performance reviews, identifying opportunities for operational improvements and capital investment.
• Manage the lifecycle of assets from acquisition to decommissioning, ensuring compliance and maximizing returns.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment for the asset portfolio.
• Coordinate with operational teams, engineering departments, and external service providers for efficient asset maintenance and operation.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in energy.
