Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of South African energy market regulations and dynamics.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic asset management plans to optimize performance, reliability, and profitability of power infrastructure assets.
• Conduct asset performance reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvements and capital investment.
• Manage asset lifecycle from acquisition to decommissioning, ensuring compliance and maximizing returns.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment for the asset portfolio.
• Coordinate with operational teams and external service providers to ensure efficient maintenance and operation.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements affecting the energy sector.
