About the Role

Our client, a respected name in the Beauty & Wellness industry, is seeking a Senior Aromatherapist and Holistic Wellness Practitioner to join their team in Benoni, Gauteng, ZA. This role is suitable for an experienced professional dedicated to promoting well-being through the therapeutic use of essential oils and integrated holistic practices. The Senior Aromatherapist will be responsible for conducting client consultations, developing personalized aromatherapy blends and treatment plans, and providing holistic wellness advice. You will work with clients to address a range of physical, emotional, and mental health concerns. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-clinic consultations and treatments with the flexibility of remote client support and administrative tasks. You will be a key player in guiding clients towards balance and improved health through natural therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients' health history, wellness goals, and specific needs related to aromatherapy and holistic health.
• Develop personalized aromatherapy protocols, including custom essential oil blends for inhalation, topical application, or diffusion.
• Administer aromatherapy treatments such as massage, diffusion, and inhalations.
• Provide holistic wellness guidance, including recommendations on nutrition, lifestyle, stress management, and complementary therapies.
• Educate clients on the safe and effective use of essential oils and other natural remedies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Stay current with advancements in aromatherapy, essential oil research, and holistic wellness practices.
• Manage inventory of essential oils and related products.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated client care.
• Promote the benefits of aromatherapy and holistic wellness to potential and existing clients.

Requirements

• Certification as a Professional Aromatherapist from a recognized institution (e.g., IFPA, AIA, EOTRA).
• A minimum of 4 years of experience practicing aromatherapy and/or holistic wellness.
• In-depth knowledge of essential oils, their chemical constituents, therapeutic properties, and safety considerations.
