Formación

• Certified Clinical Aromatherapist with 5+ years of practical experience.

About the Role

Our client, a highly respected holistic wellness center in Mossel Bay, Western Cape , is seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Aromatherapist & Holistic Health Practitioner . This role focuses on integrating the therapeutic benefits of essential oils with other holistic modalities to support client well-being and address specific health concerns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of essential oil chemistry, therapeutic applications, and safety protocols, coupled with a holistic approach to health and wellness. You will work closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans, provide education, and facilitate healing. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess health status, lifestyle, and wellness goals.

• Administer aromatherapy treatments and educate clients on safe and effective home use of essential oils.
• Integrate aromatherapy with other complementary therapies such as massage, reflexology, or nutritional guidance, as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting consultations, treatments, and progress.
• Stay current with the latest research, safety guidelines, and advancements in clinical aromatherapy and holistic health.
• Provide educational workshops and resources to clients and the community on the benefits of aromatherapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive client care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and ensure the smooth operation of the treatment space.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and hygiene.

Requirements

• Professional certification from a recognized aromatherapy institution (e.g., IFPA, NAHA, AIA).
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a Clinical Aromatherapist.
• Additional certification or qualification in another holistic health modality (e.g., massage therapy, nutrition, herbalism) is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of essential oil properties, contraindications, and safe dilution ratios.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and common health conditions.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop personalized wellness plans and provide effective client education.
