Job summary

You will work with architects and engineers to produce drawings and specifications, contributing to prestigious projects with precision and innovation.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years' experience, expert Revit and AutoCAD skills, and strong knowledge of SA building codes.

Qualifications

A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience as an Architectural Technologist.
Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM applications.
In-depth knowledge of SA building codes, standards, and construction practices.
Proven ability to manage technical aspects of multiple building projects.
Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and material applications.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using CAD and BIM software.
Ensure designs comply with building regulations, standards, and environmental requirements.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
Provide technical leadership and support to junior technologists and drafting staff.
Perform quality control checks on all issued architectural documentation.
