Placements24 is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer for a Midrand studio role. You will develop innovative design concepts and translate them into compelling visual representations and technical documentation.

You will collaborate closely with the project architect and team to shape urban and commercial projects in Gauteng. The ideal candidate has a strong conceptual design background, expert visualization skills, and a solid understanding of construction methods and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related design field.
• 6+ years of experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong visual communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present innovative architectural design concepts and schemes.
• Produce high-quality drawings, renderings, and presentations using advanced design software.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong conceptual design background, exceptional visualization skills, and a thorough understanding of architectural principles and construction methods. You will play a key role in the design development phase, contributing to the aesthetic and functional quality of projects, and working closely with the project architect and other team members. • Familiarity with South African building regulations is an asset.
