Job summary

Gridlines, a rapidly growing financial modelling consultancy, seeks an experienced model audit professional keen on financial modelling and growth. You will analyse and review complex models with a focus on robustness and reliability, collaborating with a team of modelling experts to ensure accuracy and consistency.

You will contribute to audit assignments, develop methodologies, and document assumptions, methodologies, and results while communicating findings to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
• Strong foundation in Excel and financial modelling.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts.
• Understanding of Project Finance concepts.
• Experience with FAST modeling standard is desirable.
• Degree in a numerate discipline; postgraduate qualification in accounting/finance beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support financial model audit assignments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client expectations and industry standards.
• Identify modelling errors using a combination of software checks and parallel model development.
• Take ownership of assignments and projects, delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of modelling methodologies and tools.
• Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
• Maintain meticulous records of modelling processes and methodologies.
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines and resource allocation.

Role:

• Support financial model audit assignments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both client expectations and industry standards.
