Job summary

Gridlines is seeking a senior financial modeller to manage a portfolio of assignments and lead the development of robust financial models for strategic decision-making. You will refine assumptions, perform sensitivity analyses, and engage with clients to ensure model outputs reflect business realities.

The role requires 4–7 years of experience in finance, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a remote team.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting.
• Degree in a numerate discipline; postgraduate accounting/finance beneficial.
• Experience with FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently and in remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of active assignments.
• Lead creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models for strategic decisions.
• Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under guidance of Managers.
• Discuss commercial issues with clients and ensure they are reflected in the model.

• Prepare model documentation detailing methodologies and results.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting
• A good appreciation of accounting concepts, an accounting qualification is beneficial
• An in-depth understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel
• Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
• Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
