Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Aircraft Performance Analyst to join our Mahikeng operations in North West. The role focuses on collecting and interpreting flight data to drive performance improvements across the fleet, with emphasis on fuel efficiency, range, and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aircraft performance analysis, a strong aerospace/quantitative background, and proficiency in Python, R or MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field is required.
• Strong data analysis skills and understanding of aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze flight data from multiple aircraft platforms to assess performance characteristics.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in data analysis software and programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, or similar.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and flight mechanics.
• Experience with large datasets and database management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex technical information.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
