Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Performance Analyst in Sandton, Gauteng. The role focuses on optimizing flight efficiency, fuel management and overall aircraft performance through data analysis and modeling. Hybrid work enables on-site analytics with remote report generation.

You will analyze flight data, develop performance models and provide recommendations to flight crews and operations management to drive cost savings and efficiency gains.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft performance analysis, flight operations or related analytical roles in aviation.
• Strong understanding of flight dynamics, aerodynamics and aircraft systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis software: Python, R, MATLAB; and tools like Excel and SQL.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple analyses with high accuracy.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of flight dynamics, aerodynamics, and aircraft systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
