Placements24 seeks a highly motivated Data Scientist for a fully remote role focusing on ML/AI to deliver data-driven insights, predictive models, and automation. You will work with large datasets, implement state-of-the-art algorithms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a master's or PhD in a quantitative field, 4+ years of experience, Python or R, and experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch. Strong communication and remote-work discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning roles.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Extensive experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to address business challenges.
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and data preprocessing on large and complex datasets.
• Evaluate model performance, iterate on approaches, and optimize algorithms for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for model training and deployment.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
