Job summary

MSP Staffing (PTY) LTD is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions across data engineering, DevOps and ML domains in Johannesburg. You will drive end-to-end pipelines, implement MLOps practices, and collaborate with data scientists to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

The role focuses on Generative AI, RAG, LLM workflows, and modern data architectures, with emphasis on data governance and secure AI systems.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python with OOP, design patterns and asynchronous programming.
• Proficient in building end-to-end AI/ML pipelines from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
• Experience with Generative AI, RAG and LLM workflows using LangChain/Langflow/AutoGen.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML pipelines from data ingestion through model deployment and monitoring.
• Build and optimise Generative AI applications using RAG and LLM frameworks.
• Implement MLOps practices for model lifecycle management, versioning and automated deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance and security across AI and data platforms.
