Job summary

IgniteTech is seeking a Senior Platform Reliability & AI Operations Engineer to own production incidents and build autonomous AI workflows that progressively take on more responsibility. You will spearhead end‑to‑end incident response, change validation, and RCA drafting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production operations for SaaS platforms with real first‑responder incident experience.
• Proven AWS multi‑AZ, multi‑account environments, IaC, change control with gates and rollbacks.
• Fluent English communication for incident bridges and incident writing.
• Shift‑based coverage with on‑call rotations and overlapping time zones.
• OFAC‑clear country of residence.

Responsibilities

• Carry pager duties, diagnose incidents, mitigate impact, and restore service.
• Engineer autonomous operational workflows and AI agents for pre‑triage and RCA drafting.
• Ship changes through quality gates with validated rollback plans.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement systemic prevention in production.
• Encode procedures so agents can retrieve context and reduce handoffs.
