Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd seeks a Senior Advisor Governance and Compliance to lead governance, risk and compliance activities. You will advise across the business unit, supporting National Transmission Company SA's strategic initiatives at Megawatt Park and location in Sunninghill.

The role requires deep knowledge of governance frameworks, legislation and King Code, with the ability to manage SLAs, risk assessments and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• B Degree/BTech in Law, Auditing, Political Science, Business Admin or Management at NQF7 with 360 credits.
• Minimum 5 years' experience interpreting and analysing statutes.
• Experience implementing corporate governance principles and compliance management frameworks; negotiating SLAs and serving as Secretariat.

Responsibilities

• Provide a Compliance Function for the National Transmission Company South Africa.
• Regular assessments of the company’s compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Maintain consistent and transparent Governance.
• Facilitate negotiations and implementation of SLAs with service providers.
• Identify and treat compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a Compliance Function for the National Transmission Company South Africa
• Conducting regular assessments on the National Transmission Company South Africa’ status of compliance on regulatory and legal requirements
• Ensure that consistent and transparent Governance is maintained
• Facilitate the negotiations and implementation of SLAs with service providers
• Ensure proper identification and treatment of compliance risks
