Job summary

Relay EMS in Mossel Bay is seeking an Advanced Life Support (ECP) professional to provide advanced pre-hospital care within HPCSA scope. You will make independent clinical decisions and lead on-scene teams. The role requires HPCSA registration, a Code 8/10 license with PrDP, BLS, ACLS advantageous, excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• HPCSA registration as ECP.
• Valid Code 8/10 license and PrDP.
• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in EMS as BLS/ILS/ALS.
• Proven ability to drive emergency vehicle safely.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• ACL S certification advantageous.
• PC literacy: Word, Excel and email.
• Fluent in English; other languages advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent advanced life support care.
• Lead on-scene emergency care teams.
• Complete accurate patient documentation (PRFs).
• Maintain equipment and drug control.
• Ensure infection control and safe workplace.
• Support CPD and internal training.
