Vine Recruitment is seeking an experienced Marketing Account Manager in the Western Cape to own key fruit-industry accounts and drive sales growth. You will act as the primary liaison with customers, coordinate with production, logistics, and QA teams, and negotiate pricing and claims to secure favorable terms.

You will also handle commercial administration, analyze sales data, and stay informed on market trends to offer actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years relevant marketing experience in the fruit industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced management, numerical capability and computer literacy.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of allocated customer accounts, identifying opportunities to grow sales and strengthen customer relations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their requirements are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams (production, packing, logistics, and quality assurance) in the execution of the marketing plan.
• Conduct pricing and claim negotiations.
• Basic account administration including commercial and logistical coordination, QC and sales reports and analytics.
• Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry best practices to effectively address customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
