Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Accounting / Bookkeeping qualification will be advantageous
• Relevant professional certification will be an advantage
• 25 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable or a similar finance role
• Experience with accounting software / ERP systems, preferably Pastel or QuickBooks
• Experience with bank, supplier, customer and general ledger reconciliations
• Experience with month-end and year-end processes
• Experience in the coal mining environment will be advantageous
• Strong Excel skills
• Good numerical and analytical abilities
