Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
• Degree or diploma in accounting/finance.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• SAICA/SAIPA articles advantageous.
• Experience reviewing junior staff work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review annual financial statements and management reports.
• Review reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors).
• Maintain general ledger and accounting records.
• Oversee VAT, PAYE and other statutory submissions.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines across clients.
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with auditors.
• Review junior accountants' work and provide feedback.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Manage client communication and resolve queries.
