Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the full accounting function and deliver accurate financial reporting. You will lead a finance team of 8–10 people and drive improvements in processes and controls.

The role requires a BCom Accounting or Finance degree, completed SAICA or SAIPA articles, and at least 3 years post-articles experience within mining, manufacturing or construction industries. Strong Excel and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting function, with timely financial reporting.
• Lead and mentor a finance team of 8–10 employees.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Analyse financial data, identify variances and provide insights.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable and general ledger activities.
• Support year-end audits and financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements and team performance.
