Job summary

CFAO Healthcare, part of Groupe CFAO, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to drive financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable management, and tax compliance in a South African context.

The role requires a BCom Accounting degree, 5 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/SAP skills. You will manage month-end processes, intercompany activity, and maintain accounting controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting Degree or Equivalent.
• 5 years related experience.
• Auditing knowledge advantageous.
• Advanced MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and ensure timely, accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, rebates, and bad debt provisions; coordinate with KAMs on claims.
• Perform month-end close, journals, intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet maintenance.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure accuracy of GST/VAT-related records and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies; support external audits.
• Coordinate VAT returns and SARS submissions; assist during VAT audits.
• Support SAP automation initiatives for accounts clearing and reporting.
