Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience across transactional operations and month-end closes.
• Mandatory AI Fluency: hands-on daily use of Claude or equivalent LLM in accounting workflows.
• Core accounting stack: strong QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel, multi-entity accrual accounting.
• Must align with US Pacific Time hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST) with reliable availability.

Responsibilities

• Code daily bank and card transactions for multiple entities to maintain zero-uncoded transactions daily.
• Manage AP/AR operations, vendor setup, bill entry, approvals, and payment runs; invoice and cash application.
• Maintain and post schedules for prepaid, accruals, fixed assets, leases; perform reconciliations.
• Process semi-monthly salaried and biweekly hourly payruns; verify hires, terminations, rate changes, bonuses, PTO.
• Prepare journal entries with correct Class and Location dimensions; reconcile payroll and benefits.
• Draft variance commentary and maintain AI-assisted workflow templates; document SOPs for recurring tasks.
