Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. As SDR, you will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft personalized outreach to book qualified meetings with our Account Executives.

You will use tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to maintain clean records, test messaging, and hit volume goals while keeping touchpoints high quality. Remote position available in SA.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred.
• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
