Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive mobile radio network engineering (3G/4G/5G).
• In-depth knowledge of RAN architectures, parameter configuration, and performance tuning.
• Experience with spectrum analysis and RF planning tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-native RAN (vRAN/Open RAN) is highly advantageous.
• Strong data analysis and performance reporting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in Rustenburg, North West region is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement 5G and LTE radio network solutions.
• Perform network optimization to improve coverage, capacity, and QoS.
• Analyze network performance data and identify improvement areas with advanced tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex radio network issues with minimal downtime.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for new deployments/upgrades.
• Collaborate with network planning, operations, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for radio network configurations.
• Stay current with wireless tech and industry best practices.
