We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Lecturer to join a Further Education college in East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teaching professional with experience supporting learners with SEND and additional learning needs, helping students develop their skills, confidence and independence.

The Role
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for learners with SEND
  • Adapt teaching and learning to meet individual learner needs
  • Support learners to develop confidence, independence and employability skills
  • Monitor and assess learner progress, providing appropriate support and feedback
  • Work closely with Learning Support, SEND and wider college teams
  • Contribute to personalised learning plans and positive learner outcomes
  • Promote an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment
About You
  • Experience teaching learners with SEND, learning difficulties or additional needs
  • Experience within Further Education, specialist education or a similar post-16 setting
  • Relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching and differentiated learning
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Passionate about supporting learners to achieve their potential
