Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Security Systems Installer to service the Queenstown area. You will plan installations, run cables, mount equipment, and configure alarm, CCTV, and access control solutions to meet client security needs.

The ideal candidate has experience with security hardware, low-voltage wiring, and an ability to work independently across the Eastern Cape. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for site visits are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Security Systems Installer or in a related technical field.
• Familiar with alarm panels, CCTV, and access control.
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, network cabling, and basic IT.
• Ability to work independently and manage time for installations in Queenstown.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test alarm panels, CCTV, and access control devices.
• Run and terminate cables for neat installations.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems.
• Program and commission systems per client requirements.
• Educate clients on operation and basic maintenance.
• Maintain records of installations, service calls, and inventory.
