Placements24 is seeking a diligent Information Security Administrator to manage the security infrastructure at our Benoni office. This hands-on role focuses on day-to-day security operations, firewall management, monitoring logs, and incident response to protect data and systems from cyber threats.

You will implement security controls, enforce policies, assist with user access, provide technical support for security issues, and contribute to security awareness initiatives in a busy Gauteng

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT security or system administration with a security focus.
• Hands-on experience with managing firewalls and network security devices.
• Familiarity with security best practices and common security threats.
• Basic understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
