The role requires 4+ years in information security or risk management, strong knowledge of POPIA/ISO27001/NIST, and excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., POPIA, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience in conducting compliance audits and gap analyses.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain security compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with security standards and regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR if applicable).
• Identify compliance gaps and develop remediation plans to address them.
• Prepare and manage documentation for security audits and assessments.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and industry best practices related to data privacy and security.
• Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training related to compliance.
• Manage risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Oversee the process for data breach notifications and incident reporting from a compliance perspective.
