Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Information Security Specialist with a focus on compliance to safeguard the organization. The role centers on developing and enforcing compliance programs, conducting audits under POPIA and GDPR, and aligning with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.

You will partner with IT, Legal, and Audit to close gaps and drive governance. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of data protection laws, security frameworks, and experience in security risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in information security, IT compliance, or risk management.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations (POPIA, GDPR) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience in conducting security audits and risk assessments.
