Placements24 is seeking a proactive Security Awareness Trainer to join its Upington team. You will develop and deliver training on cybersecurity best practices, phishing awareness, and data protection policies to employees at all levels.

The role requires strong communication, engaging content creation, and the ability to measure program effectiveness. You will foster a security-conscious culture and stay updated on threats to keep training relevant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in information security, communications, education, or related field.
• Proven experience developing and delivering security awareness training programs.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with common cybersecurity threats (phishing, malware, social engineering).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive security awareness and training program.
• Create engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, phishing simulations, and interactive modules.
• Deliver training sessions to employees across all levels, in-person and virtually.
• Measure effectiveness of training programs and report on key metrics.
• Stay informed about latest cybersecurity threats to keep content relevant.
